Who are we? We are a Family Scouting Pack consisting of boys AND girls from Kindergarten to 5th grade. While most of our scouts are from Vienna Elementary School, we have many scouts from neighboring public and private schools.
When do we meet? We meet as a pack once a month, generally the 3rd Sunday of each month from 6:30pm-7:45pm at Wesley United Methodist Church.
Each den meets typically once a month (days of the week vary) to work on advancements for each rank.
What do we do during meeting?
Each Pack meeting starts with the flag ceremony as well as the Scout Oath and Scout Law. After the ceremony, all scouts will take part in the advancement ceremony where scouts, who have completed requirements to earn belt loops and patches, will be presented with their award. During our Pack meetings, the scouts will have a chance to learn about the different parts of the Scout Law through fun, hands-on activities.
During the den meetings, the scouts will work on different requirements to earn belt loops and patches, depending on rank. Activities range and can include hands-on experiences, hikes, visits to fire stations and museums, camp outs and much more.
